Super Moon Evening Walk - Scout Scar

Mick & Clare, Kevin & Tina, Graham & Irene, Val & Colin, David, Frank, Roger, Josh, Jenny, Hugh (with Sally)

Fourteen members enjoyed a lovely walk along Scout Scar lit by a lovely bright full moon. Known as a 'Super Moon', the phenomenon occurs when the moon is at its closest point to the earth on its elliptical orbit and is also a full moon. It appears about 7% larger and 15% brighter than normal. The evening was rounded off with a drinks in the Rifleman's that including mulled wine.

The photo below was taken by Kevin and shows the group at the 'Mushroom'.
