Thinking about where to go instead, the feeling is that we've explored the hills and islands near to Oban, at least for the time being. A few new locations have been suggested, and these are being explored for future years However, the location for the Scottish meet 2020 is Fort William, as the hotel can accommodate us for our usual dates, can offer an affordable rate and there is still plenty for us all to do in that area. Unfortunately, the chain of hotels has changed its policy with regard to dogs and are unable to accommodate dogs going forward, which is disappointing.
